Behind the lens.
I’m Raphael, 22, the person behind ralbers.media. I started photographing cars about a year and a half ago — what began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion I haven’t been able to put down since.
I’m into cars of every kind: classics, everyday cars with a story and race cars alike. What draws me in is the moment when light, line and motion come together and an image shows more than just a vehicle.
Motorsport & trackdays
Living close to a race track, I spend a lot of time trackside. That’s where I learned to capture fast cars cleanly, time my panning shots and find my way around the paddock — experience I bring to every shoot.
Approach
How I work
- 01
Light first
Every shoot starts with the light: golden hour, blue hour, studio or a floodlit pit lane. The car is placed and timed so its lines read clearly.
- 02
Motion, not noise
Rolling shots, panning and long exposures are used deliberately, to show speed without losing the shape of the car.
- 03
Edited with restraint
A consistent, natural colour grade that keeps paint, materials and details true to life.
